San Diego Zoo Celebrates Panda's Sixth Cub

Bai Yun had more pressing things on her mind than Olympic medals on July 29 when her sixth cub made its way into the world. The 20-year-old mother extraordinaire left the den briefly for a drink of water, and the world got its first look at the precious cub that squawked and squirmed until mom returned seconds later. Happily, the cub appears healthy and robust and Bai Yun cradles and nurses it day and night.
