Spring Art Camp
During these day-long art programs, you’ll experience the amazing beauty of plants, animals, and nature. Students are given both group and individual instruction. There are 10 different single-day topics under two different instructors.

March 29—The “Fun"damentals of drawing animals: A special encounter with orangutans.
March 30—The “Fun"damentals of capturing wildlife colors: Baboons abounding with color.
March 31—The “Fun"dementals of creating cartoon animals: You’ll dig this pig.
April 1—The “Fun"damentals of creating imaginary creatures inspired at the Zoo: Creepy encounters with invertebrates.
April 2—The “Fun"damentals of drawing spots and patterns like the experts: Let’s meet the cheetah.
Classes with Elizabeth Washburn
April 5—Down Under with Elizabeth Washburn: Animals from Australia: Behind the scenes at the koala barn.
April 6—African Portraits with Elizabeth Washburn: A special look at animal enrichment with the elephants living in the Zoo’s newest exhibit, Elephant Odyssey.
April 7—Birds and Botanicals with Elizabeth Washburn: Meet the Eurasian eagle owl and beautiful macaws up close and personal.
April 8—Arctic Animals with Elizabeth Washburn: A special encounter with polar bears and a friendly greeting with the Zoo’s wolves.
April 9—Teen Chalk Mural with Elizabeth Washburn: Teens get to create a public chalk mural in the Zoo. The teens can expect to meet many of the critters that will model for the mural.
