Enjoy animal-themed fun with your youngster! Each month you'll go on a different animal adventure to learn wonderful things about the creatures you share the Earth with. For ages 3–6 with an adult.

Come join the Zoo’s early childhood specialists, who know how to turn learning into FUN for both you and your child!

Spring Art Camp

Artists and art teachers can show you how to draw like a professional. For grades 4–adult.

Summer Art Camp

Five-day sessions include both group and individual art instruction and the most amazing animal models up close and personal. For grades 4–adult.

Zoo Corps

"Inspiring change for a better tomorrow" is the motto for Zoo Corps, a program that gives teens opportunities to share fun animal facts and stories with San Diego Zoo guests.

Our professional art teacher brings out a child’s creative side, with the help of close-up animal encounters and fun art-making experiences. For children entering grades 1–3 in fall 2012

Zoo Photography: Shutterbug Sessions

Enjoy a two-hour window of time each month when you can practice your photography at the Zoo with an expert on hand to help answer questions and give advice.

Zoo Photography: The Art of Seeing Wild

Your instructor, a former professional zoo and aquarium photographer, will guide you to various locations around the Zoo before or after hours.

Sunrise Surprise Strolls

Experienced Zoo educators share the latest updates on our animal collection and the “inside secrets” of what’s going on, all before the Zoo opens for the day.
