KinderNights

Enjoy animal-themed fun with your youngster! Each month you’ll go on a different animal adventure to learn wonderful things about the creatures you share the Earth with. All sessions include a snack and an animal interaction, but the rest will always be a surprise!

This 90-minute program runs 6:30–8 p.m. Each month features a different theme.

What Animals Do: Some See in the Dark
Do you like a night light in your bedroom? Well, we’re going to meet some reptiles that don’t need any special lighting to see in the dark. Some reptiles have adaptations that help them “see” when it’s dark. We’re going to visit the Reptile House after dark and meet some of these creatures of the night.

What Animals Do: They Communicate without Words
We’ll be talking to the animals, but not with people talk! We’re going to learn how to chat, animal style. Wolves and kookaburras will be at the other end of our conversation.

What Animals Do: Some Protect Their Young!
