Who doesn’t love “star” treatment? Here’s your chance to meet many of our engaging and exotic animal stars the way you’ve always wanted to: up close and personal! With its Hollywood theme, the Zoo’s new Backstage Pass program lets you slip past the “velvet rope” and enjoy exclusive and interactive encounters with a variety of animals, most of which can only be seen by Backstage Pass holders like you!
During this intimate experience, you’ll be treated like a VIP as we introduce you to furry, feathered, and scaly critter celebrities in our private show area. You’ll even meet an animal star-in-training! Next, stroll over to our rhino exhibit to have an extremely close encounter of the friendly kind with two of the Zoo’s biggest personalities. More animals await your visit (and the treats you’ll be given to offer them!) as you return to our Backstage Pass show area to watch a private show featuring more of the Zoo’s amazing animal stars and their celebrity trainers. Our own paparazzi will be snapping photos throughout the program, so be ready for your close-up! A souvenir photo is included with your Backstage Pass, and you can purchase the rest after the program for a nominal fee.
As our VIP of the day, your special status continues even after the program ends. Just show your Backstage Pass, and you can take advantage of reserved seating at the shows at Wegeforth Bowl and Hunte Amphitheater and priority loading on bus tours (Best Value admission or Bus Tour ticket required).
