Shikari
(Pretty One)
Shikari and her sister, Chinook, were total opposites, in both looks
and dispositions. This snow-white bear prefered to look her best at
all times.
She was much more sensitive about life, and gave a great deal of thought
to any new situation or enrichment "toy" that came her way.
Of the two sisters, she was the "thinker," always wanting to
investigate all that she could.
Shikari developed encephalitis and was euthanized April 23, 2007. She is deeply missed by her keepers and many fans.
