We have four special events at the Zoo’s gift shops in May!
May 9–12, the Mercado will be hosting a Tillandsia trunk show during Garden Festival. Guest can choose from a huge selection of Tillandsia.

May 9–11, meet artist Joan Hansen in the ZooStore during Garden Festival activities, 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
Saturday, May 11, author Donald Hodel will be signing his book Loulu the Hawaiian Palm from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. at the ZooStore.
Saturday, May 25, author Bonnie Lee will be signing her books for Zoo guests from noon–3 p.m. at Sydney’s in our new Australian Outback!

Zoo gift shops feature an array of unique gifts from around the world, as well as the usual souvenirs, sundries, accessories, and treats. Store hours vary; please call 619-231-1515, ext. 4335, prior to visiting.

San Diego Zoo’s General Store (at the entrance): Everything you need to start your day! Hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, and so much more.

ZooStore and KidStore (at the exit): International gifts, gourmet foods, sundries, fashion, hats, jewelry, T-shirts, stationery, books, toys, stuffed animals, and much more! ZAGAT RATED.

Mercado (at Reptile House):
Fiesta of toys and plush animals~ole!

Zoo Brew (Lost Forest): Coffee and snacks.

Panda Shop (Asian Passage): All things panda and MORE!

Sydney’s Shoppe® (Urban Jungle): From the land down-under, exclusive koala and friends-themed gifts and souvenirs!

Tusker’s Trunk (Elephant Odyssey): Elephant gifts by the trunkful!

Arctic Trader (Northern Frontier): “Cool” polar bear gifts and souvenirs!

Front Street Rentals (Front Plaza): Strollers, wheelchairs, and electric conveyance vehicles available for rent, hats and souvenirs for purchase.

Front Street Photos (Next to Front Street Rentals): Visit our Front Street Photo location and pick up your souvenir photo, magnet, and CD!

Ituri Forest Outpost (Lost Forest): Fun and unusual items with an African theme.
