San Diego Zoo Sandwich Company
Located just inside the Zoo’s entrance, the San Diego Zoo Sandwich Company provides air-conditioned indoor dining with a great view of the Flamingo Lagoon and the Front Plaza. We serve breakfast favorites until 11 a.m. daily. For lunch, try one of our specialty sandwiches, such as the Working Bird (chicken breast, Monterey Jack, roasted chili peppers, lettuce, tomato, and chipotle mayo), the Californian (turkey breast, Monterey Jack, bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato, and chipotle mayo), or Hot Pastrami with Swiss and Thousand Island dressing. You can create your own sandwich, or enjoy a selection of salads, sweets, chili, or soup of the day.
Open for breakfast 8:30 to 11 a.m., open for lunch at 11 a.m.
