A suggestion: Please give us the CORECT pronunciation of Precious’ name on your website. So far, I’ve encountered Shen Shen——– Sen Sen——-Shun Shun——–Jen Jen—-Jun Jun. Thanks! I’d like to get it right for all the Chinese people who fllinch at hearing it pronunced incorrectly.
Moderator’s note: Our Public Relations Department suggests Jun Jun (rhymes with Fun Fun).

I, too voted for Zhen Zhen…very accurate description! Does anyone have an idea when she will be on public display? We are planning a trip to San Diego to see her in person when she is…after watching her grow up the past 4 months we feel like she’s part of our family!
Moderator’s note: Zhen Zhen will have to be fully mobile before she and her mother are given access to the public exhibit area. Perhaps in a few weeks…

What a little sweet pea Zhen Zhen is! I’ve fallen in love with pandas ever since watching Mei Lan at Zoo Atlanta. I now watch the panda cam at three different zoos: Atlanta zoo, Washington DC, and San Diego! Pandas are such amazing animals! Thanks for letting me have a peak into such an amazing world! They are all so precious!

What a beautiful name for such a precious little one! I voted for the name, as well, since it’s what I call my precious little dog, Jack. Little Miss Precious,
Your name is very appropriate! You were a precious little gem in your mother’s hand when you were born. Now you are a precious little puff of fur that is growing bigger everyday. I can’t wait to get to the SD Zoo to see you in person. Can you tell I’m a Zhen Zhen stalker who watches her daily on the panda cam? Great job Bai Yun & Gao Gao! She’s a precious gift to the world!

Congratulations to the San Diego Zoo and the wonderful panda program that continues to thrive and provide all of us the wonderful opportunity to see these beautiful animals. I am a native San Diegan, living here for 56 years and remember the wonderful Sundays spent in my youth wandering throughout the Zoo and neighboring Balboa Park. We are truly blessed with these special areas of our community. Thank you to all the employees, staff and benefactors of the zoo and animal park.

I think it is a beautiful name. I always watch the Panda cam. I do not live in San Diego, nor have I seen the zoo but I have always wanted to see it. I am from Oklahoma but I have been all over the country and have
seen many zoos but never one even had a sign about Panda’s. I am very happy about the new precious generations starting with Zhen Zhen.

Zhen Zhen is so cute & I love viewing her on the Panda Cam. I do have a difficult time veiwing her when the camera C29 is on. It’s black & white, so far away that I can’t make out anything. Is there a way of improving the picture, please?
Thanks
Moderator’s note: We can’t make any repairs on the cameras until Zhen is much older. Please “bear” with us in the meantime.

Ok, here’s the deal. I’ve discovered my love for pandas these last few months and Zhen Zhen has become the joy of my day. She and Bai Yun and Gao Gao and Su Lin are always waiting for me on the Panda Cam when I need a little break from work. I’ve become sooo fascinated with pandas, that I’m wondering if I’ve chosen the wrong career path! Maybe I need to start all over? After I read the story of Mei Sheng’s trip to China, I was so touched and really could empathyze with his keepers. I’m so envious of everyone who gets to work with them and build a connection with them; you must know how lucky you are to experience this; to help her, and other pandas grow, learn, play and develop healthily would be amazing.
Hugs for my little Zhennie - don’t grow up too fast!!! You’re already at 23.6 lbs!!!! Slow down, wait for me to visit sweetie,
Congrats and thanks to all of you for doing a wonderful job - and big ups for Bai Yun, Gao Gao and Su Lin for doing so well too!!!

My little kids must love to meet you there at the Zoo: we are flying to LA tomorrow for the March break (escaping from the Snowy Canadian winter). But I need to show my kids the Panda Cam–they must be very excited bcz it is so real and she is so cute!).
Moderator’s note: Have a safe journey and come visit the pandas and all the other critters at the San Diego Zoo!
