Thank you soooooo much for having these panda updates! For those of us who have just fallen in love with the pandas through technology, this is such an window of opportunity into a wild animal’s existence that we would never have had otherwise.
    Thanks,
    Julie

I look at the panda baby every day and I love watching the mama as she rolls him around and takes care of him. They are really cute and this panda cam is great. I also really like the news updates, but would have one request. I appreciate the information that the zoo staff gave in the last update with questions from people, but perhaps they could show more of the panda baby and just let the comments of the staff be overlaid on video of him. Really cute little guy.

  3. Susan Mills says:

Who cares if the cub is a boy or a girl! IT is adorable. I so enjoy catching sight of him/her and watching Bai Yun take care of him/her.

Ok, knowing the gender would make it easier to discuss the cub!

Happy Belated Birthday to Bai Yun!

  4. Nancy Rogers says:

You have all given a senior citizen a wonderful gift with your Panda Cam. I view the baby and Bai Yun a few times per day and find it much more interesting than watching TV. I just love watching her handle the cub and play with it. Thank you all for the pleasure!

  5. Glenda Salerno says:

I fell in love w/Su Lin and enjoyed watching her grow up. Now, there’s another baby! The panda cam is so amazing ad Bai Yun is such a good mother. Love to watch the interaction she has with her baby. Thank you so much for sharing!

  6. Bootsie says:

I notice the keepers and doctorsl don’t really touch her with your hands but how do you keep yourself from sneaking just a little kiss on her nose or head. Do you do it anyway? I would just have too!

    Keep up the good work.

  10. Trudy says:

Thanks to the panda cam. I love watching the baby and mom interact, she takes such good care of her little darling. Sometimes I have a hard time seeing her because the panda cam comes through rather dark. I look forward to seeing her grow up. Thanks for doing such a good job.

This senior citizen (82 yrs young) is thoroughly enjoying your little bear. I have watched Atlanta’s Mei Lan since birth and feel I am “up” on bear growth. They are as much fun as my Great-Grandchildren. Thanks for your sharing them with me. TX say “GO PANDAs” The mothers are so good with their little ones. .

  12. Linda Blakeslee says:

Thanks for the panda cam onbaby and mother. She appears to be an excellent mother and her little girl is just so cute.
I was there last year on Sui Lin 1st birthday and of course had to have a stuffed panda for her birthday.
It’s a struggle to figure out which baby cam to watch the panda or the pachyderm.
    Thank you SDZ

  13. Cori Yakiwchuk says:

I am so impressed at momma panda’s mothering skills. This week I noticed Mom going out more and exploring. Little ba by looks like she is growing and doing well.

  14. Dianne Herber says:

I was on vacation, away from my computer, and really missed being able to watch Bai Yun and her baby, also Tai Shan and Mei Lan. I am so excited to learn we have a little girl. Is there a statistic for the ratio of boy/girl panda births? It seems the girls outnumber the boys. Anyway. Now the countdown to 100 days to get a name for the little cutie! Not long now!

  15. Amy says:

Thank you very much for the panda cam. She is just too too too cute. What a sleeping beaty, a princesses ! Bai Yun is such a good mother, I think Pandas are best mothers.

  16. Arlene says:

I just love the panda cam. Its my morning fix. My daughters are also hooked on it. Thank you for giving us this up-close and personal viewing of these magnificient Pandas. Bai Yun is the perfect example of true motherhood!!!!

  17. Emma says:

OMG the baby pandas so cute i wish i was ther when it was being born and i love to be the one that gets to name it, if it was me i would name it Tinkerbell.Oh shes SOOOOOOOOOO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  18. Shannon says:

I am also hooked on panda cam and am watching our little baby grow every day. I can’t be in San Diego to submit a name but my choice would be “quiet one” based on the iZoofari conversations, this is indeed a quiet one which I believe translates to Mi Yi.

  19. Jane Cartwright says:

How about this for a name?

The Chinese word for “Butterball” ?
