12 Days of Enrichment

During Wild Holidays at the Wild Animal Park, we're practicing the old adage “Tis better to give than to receive” and offering you the opportunity to make gifts for the animals' enrichment. The best part is watching as animals "open" the presents you have made!

Animal enrichment activity booths will be scattered throughout the Park so you can make items for our animals, or even for your pet at home. Then watch enrichment demonstrations for our residents at Lion Camp, our lowland gorillas, African elephants, vultures, cheetahs, meerkats, and ground hornbills.

For human enrichment, take in the Black Light Puppet Show in Benbough Theater, or join Wild Wes for sing-alongs by the Plant Trader. We'll also have Slime Time in Schroeder Plaza, where kids can make their own slime to take home.

You could win a chance to be a part of the Animal Trackers Show and receive a complimentary photo highlighting your experience. For a little extra, you can have Breakfast with Santa on December 19 at the Park's Kilima Point.
