Become a Volunteer Services Assistant!

Volunteer Services Assistants work in a fun and lively environment, helping Volunteer Services staff and volunteers with a variety of duties. Primary responsibilities are helping to keep the offices running smoothly, preparing training materials, organizing, and assisting guests in the Children’s Zoo.

All applicants must meet the following requirements.

• Must be 18 years or older
• Be available two to five days per week for a minimum of two weeks
• Provide a minimum of 40 hours of service
• Have a positive attitude and strictly adhere to our world-class policies, procedures, grooming, and customer service standards
• Complete an online application, including references
• Successfully complete an interview with our volunteer interview panel
• Complete all necessary paperwork and closely follow all guidelines
