Arrive in Tana (Antananarivo), Madagascar: city tour

September 5

Tana: Lemur Park tour and visit botanic garden

September 6−8

Tana to Perinet: Explore Andasibe-Mantadia National Park  and Analamazaotra Reserve (formerly Perinet Reserve) to look for indri, sifaka, and black-and-white ruffed lemurs. Visit Lemur Island.

September 9

Perinet to Tana: Archaeology Museum or Natural History Museum            

September 10−11              

Tana to Nosy Be. Visit Lokobe Reserve and excursion to Nosy Komba and Nosy Tanikely for black lemurs and snorkeling.

September 12

Nosy Be Island tour and back to Tana

September 13−14

Tana to Ft. Dauphin and Berenty Reserve, famous for ring-tailed lemurs

September 15         

Berenty Reserve and return to Ft. Dauphin

September 16

Ft. Dauphin to Tulear to Isalo National Park

September 17                     

Explore Isalo National Park and look for brown lemurs and other wildlife.

September 18−19

Isalo National Park to Tulear: visit botanic garden.  Fly to Tana and depart for USA
