Do you ever catch yourself accidentally wasting resources? Now there is a great way to stay on track, both at home and at work! It’s colorful, handy, and small enough to fit in your wallet. The Dare to be Green mini-brochure is a quick reference to tricks we can all apply in a daily way. One highlights ways to save resources (and money) at home and the other at work. They are organized by category like transportation, food and water, health and beauty, closing the loop and grow the green as well as by ‘good,’ ‘better,’ and ‘best.’

For instance, when it comes to saving gas, keeping tires properly inflated is ‘good,’ driving the speed limit is ‘better,’ and walking or biking gets the ranking of ‘best.’ Other useful tips include shopping at local Farmer’s Markets, using your own grocery bag, mulching your plants, composting organic waste and ways to reduce, reuse and regift to save resources. You can download your very own Dare to be Green mini-brochure here. It’s nice to be reminded that our decisions and choices can make a positive difference in the world.
