For the past few years. the San Diego Zoo has invested in sharing biomimicry with local, national, and global communities. The Zoo has worked toward perfecting programs for both biomimicry education and business services.

The Zoo has partnered with the City of San Diego and major universities to build the San Diego region into a hub for biomimicry research and development, education, and commercialization. In addition to hosting an annual conference on biomimicry, we have developed biomimicry education programs at our three facilities: the San Diego Zoo, the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, and the San Diego Zoo Institute for Conservation Research.

The Zoo has been invited to speak at national conferences involving innovation and sustainability and has given corporate seminars for companies around the nation.
