Safari Sleepover

At the San Diego Zoo
The theme for our 2008 Safari Sleepover season is Fiesta! We'll focus on Latin American wildlife and conservation, in a fun way, of course!
Campers arrive at Otto Center for an icebreaker and orientation with Dr. Zoolittle’s staff. A private bus tour focusing on Latin American wildlife and conservation takes guests to the campsite. A buffet dinner is served at Camp Timbuktu and special animal visitors follow. Guests get a choice of private seating for the Hunte Amphitheater's Talamasca night show or Dr. Zoolittle’s Spectacular Sphere experience at Camp Timbuktu. Campers then make s'mores at camp and have early bedtime for younger children. Optional moonlight tours are available for night owls.
The following morning, there is a hot breakfast and games and craft activities at Camp Timbuktu. The adventure concludes with a morning walk and exclusive viewing of some fascinating animal areas.
For information and reservations, please call (619) 718-3000 or (800) 407-9534.
