Get creative! Join professional artists for these popular art sessions. Here's your chance to uncover your hidden talents as you gather inspiration from the Zoo's collection of animals and plants. All programs include animal presentations and all materials, except sketchbooks. Choose as many weeks as you like from the various sessions offered.
Summer Art Camp schedule (9 a.m.–3 p.m.)

Zoo art classes are taught by professional art teachers, who individually excel as talented artists! Each five-day session includes animal encounters, art materials, (except sketchbooks), and individual instruction within a class setting. Choose as many weeks as you like.

Cartooning with AlexThis class will explore artistic concepts such as line, shape, space, value, color, texture, and composition. Artists will create their own cartoon animal characters. NO extended-day services available for this class |

Safari in Pastels with AlexThis class will be doing art with oil pastels. Alex will select a number of animal models throughout the day and provide his students with lots of individual tips and tricks when working in oil pastels. |
