If you’re a gardener or love the wonders of plants, be sure to come by the Wild Animal Park Saturday and Sunday, April 3 and 4, for the Garden Societies Celebration. Representatives from a dozen local plant and gardening groups will be on hand to share their beautiful blooms, green thumbs, and expertise with you. Find out about epiphyllums, succulents, cacti, roses, bonsai, California native plants, and more. You can even stop by the Park’s Plant Trader shop for a few new treasurers to take home. And if native plants are a particular interest, sign up for the Park’s Nativescapes Garden Tour taking place the following weekend, on April 10.
