Orchid: Zygos Zygopetalum mackayi

One of the most commonly collected "zygos," Zygopetalum mackayi orchids have a striking color contrast between their lip and the sepals and other petals. The boldly striped and mottled orchids are native to Central and South America and grow in hill and mountain forests.
