Chinese Fringe Tree Chionanthus retusus

With its lacy flowers full of narrow, fring-like petals that bloom in June and July, and its green leaves that turn deep yellow in the fall, the deciduous Chinese fringe tree Chionanthus retusus presents a varying pattern of beauty for each of the seasons. A member of the olive family, the Asian tree rarely gets taller that 20 feet (6 meters).
