Jimson Weed Datura stramonium
FAMILY: SOLANACEAE (Potato Family)
J is for Jimsonweed. Although this Datura is toxic, it's been used in ritual ceremonies by Native American tribes throughout the Southwest. The showy white flowers bloom from spring through fall on the outskirts of the Nativescapes Garden.
